WHAT IS FAMILY PROMISE?

Family Promise of Missoula is a nonprofit network of interfaith organizations working together to end homelessness, one family at a time. As a host congregation, we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ to Missoula families in need by sharing our space, sharing our food and sharing our time. We invite you to find your small part in serving that can make a huge difference to families in transition!  For more information on Family Promise you can visit their Missoula website at www.familypromisemissoula.net.

HOW IT WORKS

The program is designed to provide housing and food for families who have inadequate housing and to help them get back on their feet. Our church has joined with other Missoula churches to host these families (max of 4 families, or 14 people at a time) 4x/year for one week. The families work toward specific goals of securing employment and long term housing with the help and support of a Family Promise staff person.

YOU CAN HELP

Each of us has a role to play to best love these families. There are physical needs and there are volunteer needs. The online sign up form below has a list of volunteer opportunities. You can also contact Rachel Robinson at robinsonrachelm@gmail.com or Tracey Cravy at thecravys@gmail.com for more information.
